Healthy Ways to Thin the Blood

After surgery I have been given Coumadin, and told not to eat dark leafy greens, garlic and cranberry juice and they thin the blood and react badly with the Coumadin. If–they thin the blood then why not eat them instead of Coumadin?

I take coumadin.I don’t like that it restricts me from taking many beneficial supplements and foods that interact with the coumadin. Is there a natural therapy that works as well?
