Dear Healthy Thinkers,
I have accepted a position as Medical Director at Healing Solutions, a primary care facility, located at 9274 South 300 West, Sandy, Utah 84070. I’d love to see you and care for you and your loved ones, providing them with healthy alternatives to drugs and surgery as your first treatment options. (Of course, there is a place for drugs and surgery, but we’ll work with strengthening your immune system before we try invasive pharmaceuticals).
I’ll keep you updated as we initiate lecture series, cooking classes, health coaching, massage therapy, and a host of other wonderful options to help you become healthy and stay healthy, and get your energy levels up.
To schedule an appointment, call my office at (801) 565-3755.
My gratitude and love to all of my Ohio and Eastern patients. I’ll miss you, and hope to see you whenever you travel to the West. Blessings and health to all!
Dr. Stan

My doctor says I can get all the vitamins and minerals I need from my food. What is your opinion on this?
I used to say the same thing to my patients, back in the days before I studied healthy alternatives. It is the party line of allopathic medicine, although that is starting to change. Here's the bottom line, and I'll follow up with some info on what allopaths are now doing:

Dr. Stan - will you be working with IHC so our insurance will cover it? Any plans to expand into Logan?

You will be greatly missed here in Ohio. You are truly an amazing, healing, knowledgeable doctor who is genuinely interested in guiding his patients to a healthy body. Thank you for all your years of treatment and putting my on the road to wellness. The world is a much better place with you in it. Thank you! Enjoy your new adventures out west–we will miss you.

Ruth, Healing Solutions does not work with any insurance plans. You will always be able to submit the super-bill to your insurance as an out-of-network provider. Much of what we do is outside of what insurance covers anyway. I look forward to the day when the insurance industry and medical care is truly concerned about the health (and not just the lack of illness) care of it constituents.

Help! On 6 Sep we are due to enter the MTC (Retired Military Couple/Raleigh, NC) and I’ve been trying to improve an inflammed hip joint. I have hip dysplasia and walking has become painful. I would like to give up the ibuprophen they have me on in favor of something more holistic/organic. I know there are some foods to avoid and some that help. What are they? If we were to be in the area, I would indeed be making an appt with your new clinic but now we are crunched for time. Any help you could give us would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have a grandson, who has had intestinal problems for 2 years now and has been tested for Sileac, Krones (sp)
leaky gut, you name it but no he hasn’t shown positive on many tests and no Dr. seems to know how to help him. He is trying to cure himself and eats only sourdough bread (He Bakes) and eggs (raw). He is just 23 and needs help. Have you worked with such problems.
