My doctor says I can get all the vitamins and minerals I need from my food. What is your opinion on this?
I used to say the same thing to my patients, back in the days before I studied healthy alternatives. It is the party line of allopathic medicine, although that is starting to change. Here's the bottom line, and I'll follow up with some info on what allopaths are now doing:© 2008 Stan Gardner, M.D. | Disclaimer | RSS Feed

Hi, Dr. Gardner,
As a movement therapist and lifelong TMJ sufferer, I thank you for your holistic suggestions. I had 2 major surgeries on my jaw years ago that I now realize may not have been necessary. Fortunately, I am pain free and basically able to self-manage with self massage, lifestyle changes, and somatic movement retraining of posture and stress response. So many people need help!
