Dr. Gardner: What an awesome article about toxins! What can we do? I am eagerly awaiting your next articles.

My doctor says I can get all the vitamins and minerals I need from my food. What is your opinion on this?
I used to say the same thing to my patients, back in the days before I studied healthy alternatives. It is the party line of allopathic medicine, although that is starting to change. Here's the bottom line, and I'll follow up with some info on what allopaths are now doing:© 2008 Stan Gardner, M.D. | Disclaimer | RSS Feed

Dr. Gardner,
Are you Latter-Day Saint? I am a Latter-Day Saint and, honestly, it irritates me to see how much into cookies and pies and everything sugar my church brothers and sisters are. Also, the more cooked things are, the more they seem to like it. I usually have to pack my own foods and skip desserts when I go to any church gathering that includes meals. Thank you for your information on the subject.
When My oldest child was a baby, she also developed a ear infection at about six months of age. I was devastated. The so I set out to read and find solutions on my own. When her prescription was refilled and stronger, I said to myself: no more. I started watching what I was eating and drinking, took more vitamin C and other supplements, and in a couple of weeks my baby was ear infection free. As a result, when I had my second child, I took all the precautions early, so she never developed an ear infection.
