Is This Idea Crazy? Maybe…Maybe Not, We’ll See…

February 13th, 2009 · 9:07 AM

It happened again just a couple of days ago.  One of our friends posted a message that she had awakened with a huge headache, and after taking several painkillers she was still feeling terrible.  Had my friend known what I am about to tell you, she would have applied some simple techniques and been able to get rid of her enormous headache, without resorting to painkillers.

But I couldn’t tell her—not yet.  She’s not ready for the information I have for her.  But when I read her message, I DID reflect even more fully upon this wonderful program I’m creating, because I want its message to reach everyone who wants to feel better  (and who doesn’t want to feel better?).

I have a  “crazy” idea: to help everyone in the world to achieve dynamic health and energy.

You see, your body is your partner in helping you to discover what is happening to you, and how you are reacting to it.

For example, if you have ever watched a detective show, you can get a general idea how your body functions for you as a master sleuth.  It is constantly giving you feedback about what is going on inside it.   Sometimes the clues are hidden under layer after layer of other clues.  You have to know what to look for; you have to be able to be honest with yourself about what is happening or what has happened in the past—what you’re eating, drinking, breathing, thinking. When I treat my patients, we work together as a partnership to evaluate what is happening in their lives and how it is manifesting in the body.  Like peeling back the layers in an onion, we explore carefully and learn the messages the body is sending out to us.  We discover the causes of their illnesses.  They recognize things, they become active participants in their own health care, and they achieve dynamic health and energy.

Many of my patients have been to at least 10 other medical doctors and come out of their consultations with prescriptions in hand and bewilderment in their minds.  Folks, the solution is not found in a prescription pad.  A drug will merely mask the symptoms your body has so carefully provided to you as a clue to getting better.

My plan involves several factors.  It’s different, it’s innovative, and it’s based on solid science.  It also involves some treatments that I have proven to be true in nearly three decades of practice, with thousands of my own patients and referred patients from other doctors who had thrown their hands up in the air and given up on them.

If you are not feeling the very best you have ever felt in your life—and you want to feel better—I can help you.  I want to help you.  But my question is: am I crazy to have this vision, this goal?  And if it’s possible, how do I go about it.

That’s why I started this Internet site.  I wanted to reach far more people than I was reaching in my practice.   Like a small lever that can lift a large object, I saw the Internet as a way to begin sharing my message with like-minded people who are ready to be healthier than they have ever been before.  And you have responded—wow have you responded!

My plan has been designed with several criteria.  In creating it, I wanted it to fulfill these certain criteria, and I wanted to involve all of your ideas as well.  Dozens of you took the time to give me excellent feedback, and it sounds like we’re in sync about how to go about this nearly overwhelming objective.

Here are some of the factors I developed for the program:

  1. It has to be simple.
  2. It has to be incremental.
  3. It has to be affordable, with some aspects freely available to everyone, and other aspects higher priced.
  4. It has to be available on different levels to people with various levels of commitment.
  5. It must require commitment from participants, for a half-hearted effort will not achieve the desired results.
  6. And you have to be accountable.  There’s no way I want anyone to go into this program half-baked, with some vague idea that someone somewhere (translate: me) is going to give you a magic pill or bright blue button to push.

I’ll share some more aspects of this program in a few days and keep you posted with updates when it they are available. And what’s more–I’m going to start you off with some free stuff as an introduction.  How’s that?

In the meantime, would you mind doing me a favor?  Just forward this to your friends who are interested in being full of energy, full of zest for life, and eager to learn, change, and grow.  My list has grown by leaps and bounds, but word has to get out to an even greater degree for this plan to be viable.   I need three times the subscribers to my Daily Health Secret (it’s free to subscribe), so I can find out who is on the same page with my medical philosophies.  Then the biggest hurdle is overcome.  Once enough people are actively learning and applying the principles, and their friends are seeing their results, we can reach more and more people.

Talk to you soon!  To your dynamic health and energy, Dr. Stan Gardner

I am ready - I am tired of being tired. I want to get healthy by not taking pills - I know how to eat right but then I get on a sugar roller coaster (”oh, I really want a Coke with this enchilada..”) it is too easy to do - even if I don’t have those things in my home. I am looking forward to hearing more about your plan! Carol from Arizona

I have known I need to change my eating habits but wasn’t sure where to start, and what is best, and just how to do it. I have heard even the salads in the fast food resturants are bad for you. Can you give me a easy step by step plan?

At last! A doctor who recognizes the limitations of drugs and surgery and is willing to look for more effective ways to help people be healthy. Alternative medicine has been my only source of help for decades and we all need more education in this vitally important area.

We are working hard to put together a simple (hopefully), comprehensive, step-by-step program to dynamic health and energy. We have received feedback to finalize this program. We hope to launch it within the next several weeks. Watch for the news.

I loved your article about sugar and YES I am a sugar addict. I am like a shark on a feeding frenzy when I eat sugar. I can’t seem to stop. So I am looking forward to the next article.

I’m also tired of being tired! I eat pretty healthy foods but I also eat sugar knowing that I shouldn’t.

I’m currently seeing a naturopath to help me get healthy again, but I need support in between visits, especially in getting off of sugar. I have far too many symptoms that make life rather uncomfortable. Thanks!

I am very interested in what you are doing. I’ve always thought that if I could just manage to eat right and exercise that I could cure a lot of my ailments. Thanks. I look forward to hearing more.

I accidently came upon your web site and what a wonderful find indeed! As a cancer victim of UN-educated health, I am looking for the straight and narrow path to great and perfect health. I am doing chelation after having had 4 rounds of poison (chemo), radical surgery, and now I am in the process of restoring my body to perfect health. It was recommended that I go another 4-6 rounds of poison plus 6 1/2 weeks of radiation, of which I refused both when they could NOT prove that I still had cancer, but they said “Science shows… blah, blah, blah…”

I bounce back and forth from a 6.25 pH to a 7.0 pH, but have problems maintaining it due to the fact that my husband enjoys the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) of America and I must admit that I enjoy that way of eating too and slip up from time to time. I LOVE sugar and chocolate and have poisoned my body with all sorts of unhealthy stuff and I’m looking to change all that. Thank you!

I have multiple sclerosis and I have been looking for a good healthy way of life without as much suas I usually. Your information is what I have been looking for.

I’m really interested in a program where the whole body is treated and not just one small part. I don’t like a bunch of pills whose side effects are what your trying to get better from

There are several of us in China who are excited to hear what you have to say. Please hurry!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and giving us insights of alternative medicine. I think my doctors feel like they have to have patience with the patient with the crazy ideas. Looking forward to your information.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, epstein-barr, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and graves disease. Also, have had some kidney issues, been told I am facing glaucoma and am in the morbidly obese category. Am I a lost cause? or is there hope for me? I would greatly appreciate any help that your program may offer. Thank you

Dr. Gardner, thanks for being willing to “buck the system”. My husband and I try to practice good habits but–and it only takes a glance to see that he does a better job than I. I am the one with Type II diabetes, aching and hurting joints and muscles, a “belly fat” problem, and the list goes on. I am deeply interested in your programs, but so far I read “about” them but don’t seem to find enough specifics. Could we please have more details, i.e. you say healthy snacks; what are they?

  • 21 Ashley // Mar 6, 2009 at 3:31 pm

I am definitely interested. Yay for more energy and a better quality of life!
