When our youngest son left home two years ago to go to college, we put our 5-bedroom 4-bathroom home on the market for sale (not a good time for the housing market). Two weeks ago a small family expressed interest in the home, and they will be renting for the time being. In the process of moving to a small 2-bedroom 1153 square foot home, we realized how much ’stuff’ we have accumulated. In fact, in an effort to declutter the home two years, we have had stored in our garage 150 boxes that we have not accessed for two years. We’re selling a couch, bookshelves, a crib, tables, chairs, lamps, rugs—the list goes on. ‘Stuff’ we don’t need, but have been hanging onto for years.
It got me reflecting on non-house ’stuff’ we ‘hang onto.’ When we eat too much, we say we are ’stuffed.’ Do we have a hard time ‘letting go,’ moving on, letting life flow? Do we hang onto the bad experiences, bad relationships, ‘life,’ or do we let them flow through us? Is the weight (stuff) we carry a reflection of the fact that we are hanging onto too much stuff of life—not letting go of the ‘bad’, and not focusing on the ‘good’? Is anything good or bad, or is it all just relative to other things that are ‘worse’ or ‘better’?
My wife was telling our neighbor tonight that we are going to have a garage ‘give-away,’ so that others can benefit from the ’stuff’ we no longer need. Perhaps as we all learn to give away the ’stuff’ we don’t need, we will find other ’stuff’ starting to disappear from our lives that we may not even be consciously working to happen (like unhealthy ’stuff’).

My doctor says I can get all the vitamins and minerals I need from my food. What is your opinion on this?
I used to say the same thing to my patients, back in the days before I studied healthy alternatives. It is the party line of allopathic medicine, although that is starting to change. Here's the bottom line, and I'll follow up with some info on what allopaths are now doing:

Medicare does not pay for ED (erectile dysfunction) cures or pills. Yet it is likely one of the most advertised physical disorders. Can you recommend some alternative medications or treatments, something besides shots or vacuum therapy.
